What are you saying? Crappy Hench monks are still better than -40AL while healing, especially when he shouldn't be investing in Tactics... it's been said over and over, Heal Sig is just not viable as a self-heal unless using it in a Tactics-based or -using Farming Build.

Even if he isn't farming, Axe could still be viable in Factions. [[Triple Chop] is a good skill, you just need to know when to use it (1v1 is bad, kk?) so that it isn't wasteful or pointless when compared to the other skills that could be used.

I don't see why axe wouldn't be good in factions- you have [[cleave], [[dismember], [[executioner's strike] and [[cyclone axe].

uhm... heal-sig is a pretty good heal. It's huge compared to most self heals and it's free. Just dont be taking heat when you use it. If you need a self heal you shouldnt continue to stand in the frontline anyways.

that being said, lion's is usually better just because they made it imba with the extra adrenaline and you only need to spec 2 attributes.

you can get all the best PvE axe skills in factions: [Triple Chop], [Dismember], [cyclone axe], and [Executioner's strike]... no [Whirlwind Attack] unfortunately.

the thing i find to be hilarious is that factions only accounts dont have access to crushing blow, the most important hammer attack skill in the game...its a prophecy skill and not core...so dumb

Well again thanks for the advice guys, seems to have stirred something....starts walking tentatively away...XD...

i use heal sig because i have rez but it needs the morale boost to be active, i've unlocked Dragon Slash but as i'm not as far ahead in the game as i need to be to get the skill i'd need a skill tome to actually get it to be activated so in terms of the skills i can currently buy or have access to i'm trying my best...sorta...you'll be glad to know i'm not dying.....as much...XD

thanks again guys will keep playing around, just wish we weren't capped at level 20 and max points....*pouts*

I don't like the Hench Monks in Faction as all they do is spam Signet of Devotion and Blessed Light and the Rit. isn't effective at Protecting even Lina is 10 time better. There are better one in NF though as well as EoTN.The Hench Monk on the Island at lvl3 only has resserect Alesia 3 has restorelife. It gets a little better once you get into Kurzick and Luxon territory.

Eviscerate is my personal Favourite Axe Elite making Triple Chop for farming like 100 Blades as D.Slash is my Favourite Sword Elite. It is just a personal thing

Two reasons why this statement is wrong.

First, heal sig is bad. Its worthless unless you are under fire, and if you are under fire, you just take twice as much damage while still being under fire. I can't tell you how many times I have seen wammos die in RA while trying to use heal sig. If you need a self heal, it means your backline is not doing its job, or you are not doing yours (aggro control is the frontliner's responsibility). Usually, its the latter, the first 2 campaigns can be done completely with hench.

Second, if you are a frontliner, your job is to be on the frontline, period. Doesn't matter who you are with, or what you are doing. Running back to heal yourself simply draws aggro further into your backline.

That is the only reason i bring [[disrupting shot] to RA and AB. It can be a one hit kill after my leet poison degens them to death. That being said, the only reason to go W/A is for [[dash], which a warrior has a better replacement for, see [[rush]. And shadowsteps, which while fun, are dangerous and unnecessary.
